Exeter Works doors will be closing on 31 March, but you will still be able to get support and guidance on our website. The Youth Hub will open the doors to its new home in Exeter Library from 3 April.

As the major shopping destination in the south west, Exeter offers a huge variety of shops and venues to residents and visitors. From the quirky boutiques and specialist independents to a 5-floor department store and two shopping centres, the variety puts Exeter at the forefront of being able to provide an experience to anyone. The retail offering in Exeter is exciting.

As well as a huge variety of retail offerings for customers, there are many roles, experiences and skills that are found and needed within retail. Many people start learning life skills in retail, they range from customer facing roles to behind the scenes roles. However, there are many opportunities for people to develop their skills and transfer their knowledge to retail too. With the ever-changing retail landscape, businesses are needing to enhance their digital presence and experiential offering to keep people engaged.
