Helping employers to help their staff

COVID-19 has made us radically rethink the workplace and the role employers have in supporting their staff.

Homeworking, socially-distanced offices and government support schemes have been necessary adjustments, but which organisations will thrive when restrictions are relaxed?

As support for the wellbeing of employees becomes increasingly important, the National Careers Service can help organisations in your regions to optimise the support they give to their staff—for free.

We plan to work on some communications and tools to help employers raise awareness of our support services amongst their staff. We can help make the National Careers Service effectively part of an employee support package—so watch this space. In the meantime, there’s no reason why you can’t introduce us to employers in your regions now. We can help businesses to be the best employer they can be. All they need to do is get in touch. Learn more about the National Careers Service.

Regional Redeployment Service

The Regional Redeployment Service supports employers needing to make redundancies and those looking to recruit. Support is also available for individuals who have lost their jobs or whose jobs have been affected by COVID-19.  Thank you for all the work you are doing to support this service. We have had over 2.5K hits on the webpage to date. We upload the latest local vacancy lists for the South West and Oxfordshire to this page weekly and promote this on our social media channels.
