Welcome

We welcome Nigel Sandford-Henderson to the team as Head of National Careers Service for the South West and Oxfordshire Region.

Nigel has 12 years’ experience of working within the adult careers information sector, starting out as a Careers Adviser in Greater Manchester and more recently as Operations Manager in London.  He says: “I am excited to continue the good work the service provides and at a time when impartial and professional careers guidance will be paramount in supporting individuals to explore and achieve their career aspirations. Critical to ensuring that our local economies thrive in the months and years ahead, will be the need to work collaboratively with key strategic partners and to deliver high quality customer focussed services that will benefit individuals and local business alike. I look forward to meeting and working with you all.”

Regional Redeployment Service

The Regional Redeployment Service supports employers needing to make redundancies and those looking to recruit. Support is also available for individuals who have lost their jobs or whose jobs have been affected by COVID-19.  Thank you for all the work you are doing to support this service. We have had 3K hits on the webpage to date. We upload the latest local vacancy lists for the South West and Oxfordshire to this page weekly and promote this on our social media channels.
